Winter’s April wrath doesn’t appear to be over just yet.

According to AccuWeather.com this area will see between 30 and 45 centimetres of snow touch down between now and Friday evening.

The forecast from Environment Canada and the Weather Network, however, is slightly more conservative with its snow accumulation estimates.

According to Environment Canada, Thunder Bay can expect between five and 10 centimeters of snow Wednesday night, and another five centimetres on Thursday.

While the forecast continues to show snow for the city on Friday, the government weather agency has not provided an estimated amount.

Meanwhile, the Weather Network is predicting between one and three centimeters of snow to hit the city sometime Wednesday evening, with another five centimeters arriving overnight. The Weather Network prediction currently shows another two centimetres of snow hitting this area Thursday morning and evening.
