THUNDER BAY — Ontario Provincial Police say Highway 17 along the north shore of Lake Superior has been reopened.
The section from Terrace Bay to Marathon was closed this morning due to a snowstorm that caused poor road conditions.
Highway 11 between Beardmore and Hearst remained closed at 1:55 p.m. Monday.
Environment Canada snowfall warnings remained in effect for the north shore, with up to 15 centimetres expected, and wind gusting up to 60 kilometres per hour.
