OPP Media Update

(THUNDER BAY, ON) On Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at approximately 9:00 am, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Neebing Fire Department responded to a report of a single vehicle collision involving a Propane truck on Highway 61 in the Municipality of Neebing.

The driver was south bound on Highway 61 when the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed over into the north bound lane, entered the north bound ditch and came to a rest on the driver side of the vehicle.

There were no injuries reported. The cab of the vehicle sustained minor damage. The vehicle’s fuel and cargo tank remained intact.   

The 45 year old male driver from Thunder Bay was charged with Unsafe Move – Lane or Shoulder contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
