THUNDER BAY -- Weather conditions have closed sections of Highway 11/17 and Highway 102.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police Twitter page, both Highway 11/17 west of Thunder Bay, near Finmark Road, and Highway 102 between Mapleward Road and Sistonens Corner are closed due to deteriorating weather conditions.
Multiple tractor-trailer units and vehicles are stuck on hills.
Ontario 511 reports that Highway 11/17 is closed between Kakabeka Falls and Shabaqua.
Police say it's unknown when the highways will reopen.
