THUNDER BAY – Getting a taste of the Lakehead’s most famous pancakes may be a little difficult this week.
Officials with the Hoito Restaurant are apologizing to customers as their pancake grill is “out of commission,” and a replacement isn’t likely to arrive before sometime next week.
A sign posted on the door of the Hoito explains the situation and offers further apology for the extended wait customers are likely to experience because of this.
The restaurant can still make pancakes, but will be using a different grill that can only cook two at a time.
The restaurant remains open.
