THUNDER BAY — A brief hold-and-secure at St. Ann School has been lifted without incident.

The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board on Thursday said a situation in the school yard was to blame, but after Thunder Bay Police Services determined the area was safe, the hold-and-secure was lifted.

A regular dismissal is planned for Thursday afternoon.

The board did not give specifics on the nature of the situation.
