I would love to nominate Aleksa Shermack for the Holiday Heroes list.
She is my theatre teacher at Eleanor Drury Childrens Theatre and she is so wonderful.
She always brings a positive outlook to each and every class.
She makes sure each one of us in theatre feels welcomed, included and supported not just once but every time we show up.
She is an amazing role model and example of who to be when we grow up because she is kind, listens, lets us all have a voice, brings us up if we are down and finds a way to make sure each of our ideas is just as important as anyone else.
She is teaching us how to express ourselves and be helpful towards others.
We are learning to support one another and our community. I feel Aleksa would be a perfect person to win your contest because she is a person who always puts others before herself and is teaching all of us kids in theatre to support one another and work as a team, and have a positive attitude.
