Holiday Train stops in Thunder Bay

The event was free to attend, and everyone was encouraged to open their cupboards and wallets to help address the hunger needs in the community

THUNDER BAY – On Friday evening, the CPKC Train Depot was bustling with excitement as hundreds of residents eagerly attended the annual Holiday Train appearance.

The event was free to attend, and everyone was encouraged to open their cupboards and wallets to help address the hunger needs in the community. Local food banks were accepting donations to ensure that those who are less fortunate have enough healthy food to sustain them through the holiday season.

The Holiday Train is a sight to behold, measuring about 1,000 feet in length, with 14 rail cars that were decorated with hundreds of thousands of LED lights.

The modified boxcar that has been turned into a travelling stage for performers added an extra touch of magic to the festivities.

The performers were highly entertaining, and the audience was thoroughly captivated by their performances.

As the night drew to a close, the train continued on its way west to its next destination in Ignace, bringing joy and goodwill to the towns and cities along its route.
