House construction activity in the Thunder Bay area increased in March.
Data from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation shows that work started on three units last month. In March 2012, construction began on only one unit.
Officials with the CMHC continue to forecast that the 2013 construction season for homes and apartments will be similar to activity recorded in 2012.
