Police confirmed that one person died following a Monday house fire in Red Lake.
Officers from the Red Lake detachment of the OPP and the Red lake Fire Department responded to the house fire on Forestry Road on Monday, Jan. 25.
When firefighters arrived, the house was already completely engulfed in flames and was eventually destroyed.
Following an investigation, police learned that Virginia Keesic, 49, of Red Lake had died during the fire.
Investigators have labeled the fire suspicious, and continue to investigate.
