THUNDER BAY — A man was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after a truck crash on Highway 102.

Ontario Provincial Police said the incident happened just before 3:00 am Tuesday near Townline Road.

Investigating officers responded to reports of a suspected impaired driver, and found the wreckage of a commercial motor vehicle in the westbound ditch.

A 34-year-old resident of Kaministiquia was arrested for impaired driving before being taken to hospital by paramedics.

The charge has not been proven in court.

The accused was released from custody for a court appearance in March.
