THUNDER BAY -- It's time for one of our oldest Northwestern Ontario traditions, the Hymers Fall Fair.

President Kathleen Woodbeck says the two-day fair starts Sunday, and wraps on Monday and as always maintains its traditional country-roots.

“Everything we plan, we plan with the whole family in mind,” Woodbeck said during an interview with CKPR Radio. “So all the events that we have here are good things for the entire family.”

Highlights include the roast-beef dinner on Sunday, and the turkey dinner on Monday.

Woodbeck adds that flooding in the Hymers area earlier this summer hasn't had any effect on the fairgrounds.
