KENORA, Ont. – Three people are facing impaired driving charges following three separate impaired driving incidents.
Shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday, January 19 reports came in of a vehicle in a snowbank at a downtown intersection in Kenora.
OPP officers attended the scene and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and was arrested and transported for further tests.
The 46-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 8 to answer to the charges.
The following day, officers were conducting patrols on motorized snow vehicles in the area of Armstrong Lake.
Police observed an MSV on the lake and they conducted a stop on Second Street in Redditt.
As a result of the investigation, police determined the man had been consuming alcohol and arrested and transported for tests.
The 38-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 8 to answer to the charges.
The next day OPP arrested a 33-year-old woman in Kenora following a vehicle stop on Veteran’s Drive.
Officers determined the woman had been consuming alcohol and was arrested at the scene and transported for tests.
She was charged and will appear in court Feb. 8.
