Iowa man injured in weekend highway crash

A 74-year-old man was taken to hospital Saturday following a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 502 near Dryden.

A 74-year-old man was taken to hospital Saturday following a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 502 near Dryden.

OPP officials say a Des Moines, Iowa man lost control of his vehicle and was pinned inside after rolling the vehicle several times.

The Dryden Fire Service, Oxdrift Fire Service, Fort Frances and Dryden Ambulance were on the scene. Highway 502 was closed temporarily until the driver was released.

The man was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries. He has since been released.
