Toronto, ON – With an estimated total of $84 million in top prizing for the taking in this Friday’s LOTTO MAX draw, there could be several new millionaires in Ontario come Saturday morning! This Friday’s draw totals an estimated $60 million jackpot with an estimated 24 $1 million MAXMILLIONS prizes up for grabs.
LOTTO MAX Fast Facts:
• This Friday’s draw marks the 6th anniversary of the first $50 million LOTTO MAX win. A Manitoba couple held the only winning ticket for the record-breaking draw on November 6, 2009.
• Across Canada, 74 LOTTO MAX jackpots have been won or shared since LOTTO MAX launched September 19, 2009.
• The most recent LOTTO MAX jackpot was won on September 25, 2015 and was worth $60 million. It was split by a group of 12 co-workers from Markham, Ontario.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2.3 billion in prizes, including 42 jackpot wins and 267 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 10:30 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 for the draw that evening.
