Toronto, ON – Lottery players hoping to cash in on this Friday’s massive LOTTO MAX jackpot are keeping lottery kiosks buzzing. The LOTTO MAX draw on Friday, December 18 offers a whopping estimated $60 million jackpot and an estimated 21 $1 million MAXMILLIONS prizes.
LOTTO MAX by the numbers:
- Fifty per cent of LOTTO MAX ticket sales take place on a Friday.
- More than half of all lottery players choose to play ENCORE with their LOTTO MAX ticket.
- OLG processes more lottery transactions per day in Ontario than Canada’s two major credit cards combined.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2.7 billion in prizes, including 42 jackpot wins and 273 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 10:30 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 for the draw that evening.
