KENORA, Ont. -- The sudden death of a 47-year-old man on Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation is under investigation.
The body of Norman Copenace was found in a wooded area on the First Nation territory on Tuesday, provincial police said in a Friday morning news release.
The death is being investigated by the Treaty Three Police Service, along with the OPP's North West Region Forensic Unit, Regional Support Team and the force's Kenora Crime Unit.
An autopsy was conducted in Kenora on Wednesday and the cause of death is still under investigation.
Police asking anyone who had contact with Copenace, or any information about his activities since Dec. 31, 2018, to contact the OPP's Kenora Crime Unit.
