A Kenora woman has died after being struck by a vehicle Monday morning.
Police were called to a crash scene involving a vehicle and two women pedestrians. Both women were rushed to Lake of the Woods District Hospital, where 79-year-old Marlyn Lowes succumbed to her injuries.
The other woman, an 83-year-old Kenora resident, was treated and released with non-life threatening injuries.
A 59-year-old Kenora woman has been charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian.
