THUNDER BAY — A decades-long tradition is returning this Good Friday to the East End.

The Hill City Kinsmen is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Slovak Legion, starting at 11 a.m.

The egg hunt includes a chance to collect as much chocolate as you can grab, plus the opportunity to win other prizes and meet the Easter Bunny.

Families should arrive at the legion on Atlantic Avenue before the start time as the first group of kids, ages three and under, hit the field right at 11 a.m.

They’re followed by children ages four to five, then the six and seven-year-olds take the field followed by eight to 10-year-olds.

In past years, the event has seen upwards of 1,000 children attend.
