Toronto, ON – Roger Roy of Thunder Bay is celebrating after winning a $1 million MAXMILLIONS prize in the May 22, 2015 LOTTO MAX draw.
“I scanned my ticket in the ticket-checker,” recalled Roger while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he picked up his winnings. “I realized I won $1 million. I couldn’t believe it! The first person I told was my mother.”
“I plan to buy my daughter a car for her birthday which just passed. Plus, I want to take some time for myself and plan a vacation,” concluded Roger.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2 billion in prizes, including 40 jackpot wins and 228 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
The winning ticket was purchased at Thunder Bay Charity Casino on Cumberland Street in Thunder Bay.
