THUNDER BAY – A second-prize Lotto Max ticket worth nearly a quarter of a million dollars has been sold in the Thunder Bay area, the OLG reports.
The Lotto Max jackpot winner, meanwhile, purchased a winning ticket worth $55 million somewhere in Ottawa.
The agency urged those who had purchased tickets to check them as soon as possible via the OLG App, by using the self-serve ticket checker at lottery retail locations or asking the retailer to check the lottery ticket through the lottery terminal.
Lottery tickets generated by an OLG-authorized lottery terminal, such as Lotto Max, expire one year after the draw date on the ticket.
