THUNDER BAY – Daniel Del Paggio’s long been known as one of the good guys.

The OUA made it official.

The veteran Lakehead Thunderwolves star on Thursday was named the OUA West most sportsmanlike player for 2019-20.

Del Paggio incurred just three minor penalties this past season, scoring 11 goals and 33 points in 28 games.

He becomes the fifth Thunderwolves player to capture the award, following in the footsteps of Billy Jenkins, Mike Hammond, Mark Soares and three-time winner Joel Scherban.
