THUNDER BAY — Students at Woodcrest Public School will get at least one more day off this week.
Lakehead District School Board officials said the elementary school will be closed on Wednesday due to "maintenance issues beyond our control."
Sherri-Lynne Pharand, the board's director of education, said there is an electrical issue with the building.
"We have teams on site right now that are assessing what needs to be done," she said.
The school board said information will be provided as it becomes available if the school closure ends up being extended beyond Wednesday.
