THUNDER BAY — A youth suffered what police describe as "significant" injuries in an incident in the Forest Street neighbourhood on the weekend.
Police say the 16-year-old was taken to hospital late Saturday evening after officers found him injured in in the area of a former elevator.
A 17-year-old female had also been assaulted.
Police arrested a 19-year-old Thunder Bay man at the scene without incident.
He's charged with aggravated assault, assault and uttering threats.
The accused appeared in court over the weekend and was remanded into custody.
