EAR FALLS, Ont. – One Ear Falls resident is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic complaint last month.
Ear Falls Ontario Provincial Police received a report on Oct. 9 around 6 p.m. of a traffic complaint near the LCBO.
During the investigation, the driver was located and it was determined that they had been consuming alcohol.
Police say the officer made a demand for an approved screening device breath sample.
The driver failed and was arrested and brought to the detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old of Ear Falls was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 16 to answer to his charges.
