The former executive director of AIDS Thunder Bay has been sentenced to 90 days in jail following an incident involving a 14-year-old boy last year.
Lawrence Korhonen, 52, was charged in September after the boy reported being propositioned by a man in the washroom at Grandview Mall.
In court last month, Korhonen pleaded guilty to one count of invitation to sexual touching, while a charge of assault was dropped.
Along with the three-month jail sentence, his name will be added to the sex offenders registry.
Officials at AIDS Thunder Bay issued a statement saying Korhonen is no longer employed by the agency.
