Police are investigating a fatal crash between a motor vehicle and a freight train that took place in Emo.
Officials with the Rainy River District Detachment OPP say their officers, along with CN police, continue to investigate the fatal crash.
The collision took place at the controlled railway crossing at Queen Street in Emo.
Police say Matthew James Frederick Boven, 20, of Emo, was killed as a result of the crash.
A post mortem is being conducted at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.
