A 19-year-old Manitoba man is in custody following an alleged sexual assault that took place on Saturday near Fort William Historical Park.

Ontario Provincial Police say Stephen MacKenzie faces charges of sexual assault and forcible confinement after a woman complained she’s been attacked in a portable shower stall at the provincial park’s grounds. Fort William Historical Park hosted a two-day concert over the weekend, with bands such as Loverboy, Blue Oyster Cult and Brett Michael of Poison.

MacKenzie hails from Portage La Prairie.

He was held in custody following a video court appearance and remains in jail.
