HAMILTON, Ont. -- Michael Okafur continued to shine, but his 26-point effort wasn't enough to propel the Lakehead Thunderwolves to a 2-0 start.

Jordan Henry had a game-high 32 points, hitting five three-pointers, as McMaster downed the visiting T-Wolves 91-80 on Saturday night, both teams now 1-1 after Week 1 of the OUA men's basketball season.

Laoui Msambya, with 11, and Alston Harris, with 10, were the only other Lakehead players in double digits.

The two teams were tied 24-24 after one quarter, but the Marauders out-scored LU 22-15 in the second and led 46-39 at the break.

Lakehead cut the gap to six after 30 minutes, but the home side pulled away in the third.

Lakehead hosts Brock next Friday and Saturday night at the CJ Sanders Fieldhouse.
