THUNDER BAY -- NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh on Friday will become the first party leader to visit Thunder Bay during the 2021 federal election.

Singh is expected to deliver a speech on health care issues at the Valhalla Inn, followed by a meeting with local Indigenous leaders later in the day at the hotel.

He'll then make a campaign stop at the Persian Man on Balmoral Street and finally wrap up his stop in the city with a rally at the campaign office of Thunder Bay-Rainy River candidate Yuk-Sem Won.

There's no word yet if or when Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, Conservative Erin O'Toole, Green Party Leader Annamie Paul or People's Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier will visit Thunder Bay during the campaign.
