THUNDER BAY — Provincial police were called to a collision involving a transport and an ambulance last week.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at Sistonens Corners and Highway 102 at about 7:30 p.m.
At the scene, a commercial vehicle and an ambulance had collided. There were no injuries, and no patients were in the ambulance at the time of the collision.
Through their investigation, police determined that the driver of the commercial motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol and was arrested.
A 37-year-old Thunder Bay man is charged with dangerous operation and one count of impaired driving. The accused was released from custody and has a future court date.
