THUNDER BAY — A southern Ontario man who pressed his luck speeding near Thunder Bay on the weekend paid the price after catching the attention of the OPP.
'Not your average Sunday driver," noted a police post on social media.
They said they tracked his vehicle travelling at 122 km/h Sunday afternoon on Highway 11/17 near the Terry Fox Lookout.
After conducting a traffic stop, police also spotted open alcohol and readily-available cannabis in the car.
The investigation revealed expired vehicle documents as well.
A 22-year-old resident of Kingston was issued multiple provincial offence notices, which have yet to be tested in court.
They include speeding, driving with liquor readily available, driving with cannabis readily available, and driving a vehicle with no currently validated permit.
