THUNDER BAY – On Friday shortly after 5:30 p.m., officers with the Ontario Provincial Police Service responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11/17 near the Harbour Expressway that caused one vehicle to flip on to its side.
Via email on Monday, the OPP confirmed one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service also attended the scene along with firefighters and paramedics.
A 67-year-old from Springfield, Ont., has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Turn on Red Light – Fail to Yield.
