THUNDER BAY — The OPP caught a commercial vehicle doing almost double the speed limit on the outskirts of Thunder Bay.
An officer was conducting radar traffic enforcement near Dawson Road and Skyline Avenue on Tuesday night.
A commercial motor vehicle was clocked going 92 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
Police stopped the vehicle and arrested a 29-year-old Brampton resident.
The individual was charged with stunt driving as well as not having an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) in the commercial vehicle, which is required by law.
The driver has also had their licence suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
The OPP reminds members of the public to report impaired, aggressive or careless driving by calling 911 in emergencies.
