OPP investigate suspicious death in Shoal Lake 39 First Nation

Ontario Provincial Police are looking into the circumstances surrounding a woman's death.

KENORA, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police and the Treaty Three Police Service are investigating a suspicious death.

An investigation was commenced Oct. 12 with members from the Treaty Three Police Service, OPP and OPP Forensic Identification Services under the direction of Detective Darryl Sigouin.

According to police, a post-mortem examination was conducted Monday in Toronto. The victim was identified as 72-year-old Betty Ann Cup of Shoal Lake 39 First Nation.
