OPP seek information on dangerous driver

Police said the vehicle passed a fully marked police cruiser on a corner along the Trans-Canada Highway at speeds as high as 150 km/hr.

THUNDER BAY – Officers with the Thunder Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle reportedly driving extremely dangerously on Friday.

Police said a Mazda CX3 with an unknown plate passed a fully marked police cruiser on a corner along the Trans-Canada Highway at speeds as high as 150 km/hr, almost colliding head-on with multiple vehicles including a transport truck.

The incident occurred at roughly 3:43 p.m. on April 5. Police ask anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the non-emergency line at 1-888-310-1122, or to remain anonymous utilize the Crime Stoppers service at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
