THUNDER BAY -- A new eatery has opened its doors on the city's northside.
Famous Tandoor announced earlier this year at the Folk Festival they would be upgrading from a food booth to a full on take-out restaurant and deli.
Fast forward six months later and their new home att 188 Algoma St. is now open.
"Famous Tandoor has been an up and coming family project for some time, and we're happy to offer authentic Pakistani dishes to the Thunder Bay community," a spokesman with the restaurant said in a statement sent to tbnewswatch.com.
"We are currently offering take out dishes that capture the heart of traditional South Asian dining. We hope to expand our services in the near future to offer ethnic spices and groceries as well."
It's currently operating from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday through Fridays.
