THUNDER BAY — City residents are reminded paid parking will not be enforced on Remembrance Day.

Municipal holidays, including Remembrance Day, means free parking at all surface lots and on-street meters in Thunder Bay.

The solid waste and recycling facility will also be closed on Monday as it is a statutory holiday. It will re-open on Tuesday.

The Gardens ceremony begins at 10:40 a.m. but the public is asked to arrive no later than 10:30 a.m.

Those attending the ceremony at Waverley Park are asked to arrive by 10 a.m. as the march to the Cenotaph begins at 10:30 a.m.

The ceremony in Fort William First Nation is set to begin at 10:15 a.m.
