THUNDER BAY — The city will close a section of John Street on Tuesday because of a watermain break.
The main arterial road will be closed in both directions between Secord Street and Algoma Street beginning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
The city said the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot will remain accessible via Memorial Avenue and Queen Street.
The John Street access will be closed.
Travellers are advised to exercise caution and expect traffic delays in the area.
The work is expected to continue after hours and be completed by Tuesday night.
