PICKLE LAKE, Ont. -- The Ontario Provincial Police service in the Northwest has undergone some recent realignment.
Officials with the OPP say in an effort to find greater efficiency, its Pickle Lake office, which had served as a stand-alone detachment, is now a satellite detachment of their Sioux Lookout office.
The OPP says the change won't reduce front-line service.
In fact, two additional officers will now be stationed in Pickle Lake.
