THUNDER BAY – The Rotary House Lottery draw is offering up a Pioneer Drive home worth $546,143 as its top prize in 2018.
The 1,620 square foot, three-bedroom house was built by Lormar Construction Ltd.
In addition to the grand prize, lottery participants will also be in the running for $50,000 in early-bird draws, consisting of 10 $5,000 prizes.
The first early-bird draw will be held on April 18.
Tickets are $100 apiece or three for $250, and will be available on March 3 at various locations around the city, including the home itself.
Proceeds from the lottery are distributed to a number of local charitable organizations, which in the past has included the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation.
The grand prize will be drawn for on Canada Day at Marina Park at about 6:30 p.m.
