THUNDER BAY — City police have arrested five people after drugs and a loaded handgun were seized in a search of a south-side residence.
In a release issued on Friday, Thunder Bay Police said on Thursday, Jan. 3, they executed a warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of Donald Street, where they allegedly seized quantities of suspected cocaine, crack cocaine and fentanyl, with an estimated street value of $120,000 or more. A firearm, cash totalling more than $13,000 and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking were also allegedly seized in the raid.
A 39-year-old woman from Thunder Bay, a 19-year-old man from Scarborough, a 21-year-old man from Scarborough, a 17-year-old from Bradford and a 15-year-old from Toronto are charged with numerous offences.

The 39-year-old from Thunder Bay was charged with breach of a judicial release order. The 15-year-old was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm contrary to order, breach of judicial release order, breach of peace bond and two counts of breach of probation. The 17-year-old faces two counts of breach of a peace bond.
The accused appeared in court on Friday.
