THUNDER BAY -- Police have the James Street Swing Bridge closed on Tuesday morning while they investigate what they're calling a serious incident.
Police have closed a section of James Street south of Gore Street and are redirecting traffic. A police car is stationed on the James Street Swing Bridge, which is closed to northbound traffic from Fort William First Nation. Southbound traffic from Montreal Street is being allowed to cross the bridge.
Police have not yet said why the closure is in place, but have asked the public to stay away from the area.
