THUNDER BAY -- Tips from concerned motorists have led police to charge a Winnipeg truck driver with impaired driving.
Officials with the OPP say a number of motorists contacted them after they saw an eastbound transport truck on Highway 11/17 in Shuniah drive onto the shoulder clipping several guardrails before pulling into a Pass Lake truck stop.
Police say officers detected alcohol on the driver’s breath and was believed to be over the legal limit.
