Police find body of missing Kenora woman

The OPP Criminal Investigations Branch is investigating the death of a young woman in Kenora. Deidra Lynn Chukra, 24, was reported missing on Friday. Her body was discovered Sunday morning on the shore near Lake of the Woods District Hospital.

The OPP Criminal Investigations Branch is investigating the death of a young woman in Kenora.

Deidra Lynn Chukra, 24, was reported missing on Friday. Her body was discovered Sunday morning on the shore near Lake of the Woods District Hospital.

She had last been seen on March 8, when she was dropped off at her home.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Chukra's death.
