Police have identified the man who died after a pedestrian-vehicle collision on Centeral Avenue Wednesday.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the victim has been identified as Peter Paul Perkovich, 66, of Thunder Bay.
Police officers were able to identify the man by the car keys he had in his pocket. Officers matched those keys to the vehicle they matched.
On Wednesday afternoon local police officers responded to a call about a single-vehicle collision. Paramedics rushed a man to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with severe head injuries.
But the man died just before 4 p.m.
An investigation into the incident continues.
