THUNDER BAY — Highway 61 is closed Tuesday morning as provincial police investigate a single-vehicle crash.
A police spokesperson confirmed the incident, but did not provide further details about the nature of the collision.
The vehicle appeared to have been badly damaged after leaving the roadway near the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre.
The highway is closed to one lane with traffic control in place, according to Ontario 511.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
