THUNDER BAY -- Officers from the Thunder Bay Police Service are currently at Westgate Collegiate and Vocational Institute looking into "a potential risk," according to a spokesperson with Lakehead Public Schools.
The school received word from the police about the risk late in the day.
According to the message that parents and guardians received, “student safety was prioritized and all students were dismissed safely. The school and police will continue to work together to ensure the continued safety of the school community.”
