THUNDER BAY — Investigators and family members continue to encourage the public to come forward with any information relating to missing person Alex ‘AJ’ Lawson, who has now been missing for one year.
Monday marked the last confirmed sighting of Alex one year ago on Nov. 27, 2022 in the 200 block of Madeline Street.
The Thunder Bay Police Service released a statement on Monday to once again encourage anyone with information that could help locate Alex to come forward.
Last month, police set up a dedicated tip line at 807-684-1055 to encourage members of the public to come forward, as well as a reward of $5,000.
The reward will be considered for anyone who provides information leading to the confirmed whereabouts of Alex.
Alex is described as an Indigenous man standing about five feet, six inches tall with a medium build. He has long and straight grey hair, brown eyes, and usually sports facial hair.
Alex was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a light-coloured North Face puffer jacket with a dark upper area, blue jeans, and black shoes.
