Police once again ask for aid in search for missing man

Family says they are really worried about him and his well-being.

THUNDER BAY — The Thunder Bay Police Service has renewed its call for information to assist in locating a missing 32-year-old man.

Randall Jack was reported missing on Nov. 24, 2024 and has not been seen or heard from since early October.

Police describe Jack as an Indigenous male with a six-foot thin build, short black hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion who last frequented and resided in the Picton Avenue Blucher area.

Jack was also known to often bike through downtown Port Arthur and Fort William.

While investigators pursue all available leads, police urgently ask those with information that could assist the investigation to come forward immediately.

Christa Jack, his aunt, spoke alongside fellow relatives from Big Grassy First Nation. She describes him as a nice, quiet, friendly and very humble person.

“Right now, we’re trying to look for him. He’s been missing for over three-months now and we’re all worried about him and we just want to know that he’s okay,” said Jack.

Jack is known to his family as a hard-working and good father with a big heart.

“He’s got a lot of family. His kids miss him, his mom, dad, all of us. We all miss him,” said Jack.

She said his family just want him home.

“If anybody sees him anywhere, even for him, if he sees this, if he can reach out to anybody," said Jack.

"I mean, there’s so many things that he’s missed that he would never miss. He would have been there… We just miss him,” said Jack.

Kevin Bradley, a detective with the Criminal Investigations Branch, said police have not yet received any information after posting several media releases over the last few months, both anonymously through Crime Stoppers and those releases.

“We’re just asking any members of the public to bring in information. Come forward. The family is quite concerned about his well-being,” said Bradley.

“He has not been heard from or seen. It’s very unlike Randall not to touch base with family or friends, and as we are in the winter months here now, we’re quite concerned for his welfare and looking to gather any information to help us locate Randall.”

He added that police are also struggling to determine whether he may have a physical or digital footprint.

“We try to get information from members of his family, friends of his, try to get an idea of his social media and try to get a sense of when some of his last posts might have been, and that’s where we’re struggling we just don’t have much information of any of that information,” said Bradley.

This information could include where he may be residing, be with, seen or potential video surveillance that could help locate where he might be.

Police ask residents with information regarding the whereabouts of Randall to call (807) 684-1200 or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1(800) 222-8477 and online.
